About Us

With more than 30 years of experience in the metro Atlanta area fire service, I bring a comprehensive and well rounded career that spans 29 years as a career firefighter, 10 years as a part-time firefighter, and 3 years as a volunteer firefighter. My professional development includes graduating from the prestigious Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program at the National Fire Academy, as well as earning the Chief Training Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence. I hold a Master’s degree in Public Safety Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management, and an Associate’s degree in Fire Science, reflecting a strong commitment to both practical and academic excellence in the fire service.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about training. I spent five years assigned to my departments Training Division, where I served both as a Lieutenant assigned to Training, and also as the Division Chief of Training. In both these roles, I was responsible for developing personnel, overseeing training programs, and ensuring operational readiness across the organization. During my time there, I worked closely with multiple promotional testing companies and actively contributed to numerous promotional processes. I’ve also spent time serving as an SME for some of these same companies outside of my department. I have a deep understanding of promotional processes, leadership evaluation, and organizational development within the fire service with career, part time, and volunteer fire departments.

In addition to my departmental experience, I am a founding member of the Metro Atlanta Firefighters Conference and have served as an instructor at nationally recognized conferences such as FDIC and Firehouse Expo, as well as various regional training events. I am deeply passionate about the fire service and I’m committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of fire service leaders through high-quality training, education, and professional development initiatives.
